Is It Autumn?

Hello, my friends :)
Over the Summer, somewhere in the middle of the sunburn, sweating and those long, long days, I was dying for a fresh breath of Autumn. And it is finally here!
So here are some things I love about Autumn that I'm really looking forward to:
Hot Chocolates
Halloween
Rain
Leaves
Candles, Candles & more Candles
Oversized Jumpers
Long Cozy Socks & Tights
Tea
Reading a good book while drinking coffee
Rainy days under the duvet
Scarves, Hats & Boots
Evenings get darker
My Birthday (that's right, my birthday is in October) *o*
The view from my window when it is raining
Pumpkins
Horror films
The feeling that Christmas is approaching
More baths in the evenings
Dark, vampy nails
Dark, berry lips
Harry Potter (why does he always remind me on Autumn?)
Autumn blog posts (leave me links of yours, cause I would love to read them while drinking tea under a blanket)

Because I find Autumn such an inspirational time, here are some pictures to inspire you (these are from the internet)

Review: If I Stay - Gayle Forman

The picture is pretty bad, 'cause it was taken with a phone.
To be honest, I watched the movie first. :/ And that was a bad idea. Why?-Because, when you read a book, your brain creates pictures and looks of the characters, how they react to each other, their voices, the ways they do something.. And if you see the movie first and then read the book (like I did, stupidly), you automatically lose the power of imagination (if that makes any sense?). You don't imagine the characters by yourself, you imagine them as the actors from the movie. And because of that, I would recommend you not to do the same mistake as I did. Read the book first. :)
Why I decided to read the book? Because I loved the movie, and everybody know that the books are always better. Logical.
'The book is based upon Mia reflecting over her life and what she's accomplished and achieved and answering the ultimate question: Should I Stay Or Should I Go? (No reference to the song intended).' - This is what I found while I was Googling the book. And I liked how this sentence perfectly summed up the whole book. :)
So.. Mia lives with her parents and her younger brother Teddy in their lovely home state in America. One day, it starts snowing there. The schools were closed, so the family decides to go to their grandparent's. And suddenly, they end up in a car crash. Mia's Mum and Dad die at the scene, and both her and Teddy are in a critical condition. What happens next is a little bit difficult to explain, but I'll give it a go. Mia is in a state of.. non-death (?) and watches over her body and people around her. But she can't touch them and no matter how hard she tries, she can't reach to them, they can't hear or see her.
Every now and then, Gayle Forman takes us back to Mia's past and shows us what her life was like before the accident. And then she brings us back to the present again.
What happens to Mia and Teddy, I won't say. I'll leave that for you to discover. :)
Surprisingly, the book was short. Or compact would be a better term. I like the fact that G. Forman didn't blow this topic up into a book that was over 400 pages. It was just over 200 pages. Short, but sweet as well.
You know it's a good book when it makes you drop a few tears.. Not that I did (*cough lie *cough). ..and when it makes you think about yourself, your future, what you've accomplished and what you want to accomplish.
And I forgot to mention, the book was on Serbian. But, I believe the books are best to read in their native language.
Oh. And.. I was quite disappointed to see Where She Went available as well. How can you serialise this book? Or was Where She Went just a by-product of a publishing agreement? Wrong?
What do you think about that?
Did you read the book and if so, what do you think of it?
And, I'd love it if you could recommend me a few more books to read. Not necessarily chick flicks. I like thrillers more. :)

Introduction :)

Hello everybody..
I've been wanting to start this blog for a month maybe.. And I finally did. yay :)
So, this is actually my first blog post ever. What to writee?
Yes.. My name is Marija, obviously..I'm 15 years old. Just finished primary school. And entered High school. :))
The main reason why I made this is boredom, too much spare time and maybe curiosity..
I wanted to have my little corner on the internet where I would write my thoughts. I just want to have fun with it, and you to have fun with me.
Well, wish me luck. And thanks for reading.
